Body-Mind Rhythms

My name is Angie and I am a qualified dance movement psychotherapist offering movement sessions for wellbeing.

My company name is ‘Body-Mind Rhythms’ (B-MR), which is a platform for expression and healing through movement. Sessions focus on nurturing the balance between body and mind by bringing awareness to the present moment. It is a creative space for participants to explore their wellbeing, express their emotions and release any emotional or psychological blockages through movement and dance.

As a qualified dance movement-psychotherapist I draw upon my experience of 5-rhythms, meditation, qi gong, nia dance, contact improvisation and laughter yoga practices. Participants are encouraged to release their inhibitions, tune into the deep wisdom of their bodies and surrender to intuitive guidance.

I currently offer weekly drop in sessions at Ponsanooth Hall, Truro on Monday evenings from 20:15 to 21:15. Come along if you think you may be interested and check out my page for further details:

Charity Fundraiser:

Supporting Music Therapy in Cornwall

Part of our fundraising effort this year is ‘Music and Mayhem’ a family friendly, inclusive event with music and games for everyone. Alongside the usual Giant Jenga and Connect Four games there will also be art activities, Indian Dance from Charlotte at InspirAsian and music from local acts Jordon Jane and Black-eyed Nancy, a group of very talented students from Carrick Wind Band and internationally renowned folk bands Davey & Dyer and Teyr.

Following the latest guidance from Public Health England, we are extremely pleased to announce that we are able to do face-to-face Osteopathy, Reflexology Acupuncture, Counselling and Massage appointments.

We have missed our patients and being unable to help you all has been frustrating.

The clinic has had to undergo some changes which will enhance the safety of our patients and practitioners during this unprecedented time.

In the short term you will notice some differences, such as a required health screening and consent form before your appointment and the use of PPE by practitioners.

What will remain constant will be the high standard of care that you expect from us.

Please email us using or telephone on 01326 212112 to make an appointment.
